What’s the funniest thing that’s happened to you at work?
Funniest thing was when someone walked into reception with a bag of clothes and insisted Paula exchange them for smaller sizes. “I tried to explain that we were just the law firm for this particular high street store, nothing more, so I couldn’t do this for her; however she didn’t believe me! In the end she had to admit that the lack of any clothes racks at all, anywhere, possibly meant I was telling the truth.”

What are the most important things to consider when organizing a brand new reception?
To speak up, if you think you have a helpful suggestion in the new site, now’s the time to join in. Input from both receptionists and reception managers were taken into account when we moved.
It was essential that the new building was visibly perfect, with each meeting room and its IT facilities leaving you with an impression of absolute efficiency, professionalism (and beauty).
